What can and can’t be disposed?

We accept all waste types, except the below:

- Asbestos, or asbestos containing materials

- Hazardous waste

- Liquids

- Silica dust

- Dead animals

- Sharps/syringes

We are able to accept the following, however additional charges apply:

- Car and truck tyres

- Mattresses

If disposing of these items, please advise us and keep them either beside or on top of your bin.

Discounts may apply for bins containing scrap metal, bricks and concrete or green waste. Please contact us for further information.

Recycling Promise

At Gippy Skips we aim to recycle as much as possible in order to reduce the amount of rubbish that goes into landfill.

Bin Placement

Latrobe City council requires bins to be placed within the property boundary, however bins can be placed on the road or nature strip if a permit is obtained. These permits can be applied for online and will incur a fee - we are happy to provide you with guidance if you need to navigate this area.
